MoneySuperMarket #EpicSquads
The hot pants have been pressed. The poles have been greased. Gurlll, it’s on like Donkey Kong. Forget the Bloods versus Crips or the Hells Angels versus the Outlaws; this is the rivalry to end all rivalries. Ten blokes in their wives hot pants and high heeled shoes versus ten sassy pole dancing builders. The Strutters saved on their Car Insurance and the Builders on their Home Insurance but who is the most epic? In the words of Christina Aguilera, things are about to get ‘Dirrty’.
THE SUN EXCLUSIVE
The Sun is the largest newspaper in the UK. We invited journalist, Jacob Lewis, to come along to the shoot in his hot pants and high heels, securing some key PR coverage.
#EPICSQAUDS JOE.CO.UK PARODY
Joe.co.uk produced one of the biggest parodies of the year.
Before the heated London derby, Arsenal and Chelsea faced off against each other in an Epic Squads battle.
EPIC SUPERFANS
The entire #EpicSquads concept was inspired by the many thousands of real super fans who dress up as the characters from the ads and post videos of themselves online. In fact, these guys were getting more hits than the ads. None more so than Wayne Phillips, who got over 7 million views for his Epic Strut through Wythenshawe Civic Centre. We flew Wayne out to the shoot to and even snuck him into the final edit as an extra.
