Climate Clubs
‘Climate Clubs’ questions what the world would look like if only we cared about global warming even half as much as our football clubs.
It’s been brought to life as a series of sustainably made 3ft x 5ft football flags, printed on 100% recycled polyester, using OEKO-TEX Eco Passport Inks.
The project was selected for the 2022 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, where it was hung in the iconic Robert Miller Vestibule Room as the main entrance to the show.
It’s entirely not-for-profit, with all money from sales to be donated to the relevant causes from global reforestation efforts to the reintroduction of bee and tiger populations to clean air programmes.
There are 25 of each flag for sale, representing the percentage of English league stadiums at risk of flooding by 2050.
The longer term goal is to partner with clubs to produce ‘cause kits’, will all profits going to help sustainable missions.

With around £5,000 of personal investment, the project earned 6.7 million earned media impressions.
It was picked up and shared by players like Hector Bellerin and Carlton Cole, football platforms like COPA90, SoFoot and 11Freunde, Spencer Owen of Hashtag United, Sky Sports David Garrido, OOF Magazine, Glory Magazine and Penalty Magazine.

Haaland PR Stunt
To drive PR around Climate Clubs, we pulled off an extra mini stunt for just £85…
The biggest transfer of the window was Erling Haaland to Man City. He was yet to announce his squad number, with paper talk of him waiting for the number 9, if Jesus left the club.
But his dad played in the number 15 for City, so we printed up a shirt and made a suggestion directly to @Erling.Haaland and @ManCity.
What if Erling wore the number ‘I.5’ for the season to raise awareness of the 1.5 degrees celsius that we all need to keep to for the future of the planet? With not one major world economy on track to stick to the temperature outlined at the Paris Agreement, it would make a huge stand.
Just imagine if every kid that got it printed on the back could automatically be donating money to sustainable organisations…
We had literally thousands of young kids messaging us saying they’d wear it and even asking us to sell them for charity. It was picked up by COPA90, Penalty Magazine, SoFoot and Glory Magazine.
